In Its First Graduation Ceremony of 2026, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at ULM Conferred Degrees on 258 Students

Officials at the 2026 First-Year Graduation Ceremony, FKIP ULM

Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) once again held a graduation ceremony to confer degrees on its students. The first graduation ceremony of 2026 was held on Tuesday, April 7, starting at 8:00 a.m. WITA. The event was held at the ULM General Building Lecture Theater and opened by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, and attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty; the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dharmono; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; the Head of the General Affairs Division, Isnawati; the heads and secretaries of departments within the FKIP ULM; as well as the heads of service divisions.

In his opening remarks, Sunarno Basuki expressed his joy at the students’ graduation and advised that, following this official graduation ceremony, each student should seek their parents’ blessing so that the path they choose moving forward—whether it be the PPG program or entering the workforce—might be smoother. He also urged the graduates not to be too proud to pursue the career they desire. In addition to delivering his remarks, Sunarno Basuki also announced the top graduates. The three top graduates from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at ULM at this commencement ceremony include: First Place, Nadia Mei Safitri from the Mathematics Education Department with a GPA of 3.97 and a study period of 3.5 years; Second Place, Lusiana Vera Anjani from the Department of Special Education with a GPA of 3.96 and a study period of 3.5 years; and Third Place, Alya Sakila from the Department of Mathematics Education with a GPA of 3.96 and a study period of 3.5 years. During this event, the Decree of Graduation for the graduates was read by the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Deasy Arisanty.

The graduates come from 21 departments at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of ULM, including 27 from the Department of Biology Education; 18 from the Department of Guidance and Counseling; 8 from the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI); 16 from the Department of English Language Education; 6 from the Department of Economics Education; 15 from the Department of Geography Education; the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Department (PG PAUD) with 2 students; the Elementary School Teacher Education Department (PGSD) with 2 students; and the Physics Education Department with 10 students.

The Department of Science Education graduated 10 students; the Department of Social Studies Education graduated 10 students; the Department of Physical Education graduated 7 students; the Department of Special Education graduated 21 students; the Department of Chemistry Education graduated 13 students; the Department of Computer Education graduated 12 students; the Mathematics Education Department graduated 28 students, with the top graduate being Muhammad Taqwa Ridha with a GPA of 3.80; the Pancasila and Civics Education Department (PPKn) with 2 graduates; the History Education Department with 7 graduates; the Performing Arts Education Department (PSP) with 17 graduates; the Sociology Education Department with 20 graduates; and the Educational Technology Department with 7 graduates.
