Banjarmasin – On Tuesday, April 21, the leadership of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) received a visit from the Kartika Eka Paksi Foundation (YKEP), which is affiliated with the Indonesian Army (TNI AD). The delegation included the Commander of the 101st Military Police Battalion in Banjarmasin, Adi Wahyu Pribadi; the Chair of the Kartika Hubyah A-2 Foundation, Dwi Enggar; Secretary of the Kartika Foundation, Steffi Jella P.; Head of Education at the Kartika Foundation, Marpuah; and Aide to the Commander of the 101st Military Communication and Electronics Regiment in Banjarmasin, Makarsus Philipus M. The delegation was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at ULM, Sunarno Basuki; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty; Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dharmono; Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; Head of the General Affairs Division, Isnawati; Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH), Emma Rosana Febriyanti; Head of the Integrated Learning Mobility Unit (MKBT), Raisa Fadilla; Head of the Department of Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD); Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education Teacher Education (PG PAUD); and the FKIP ULM UPKH team. The event was held in the FKIP ULM Senate Meeting Room starting at 11:00 a.m. WITA.

In his opening remarks, Sunarno Basuki welcomed the visit and expressed his hope that both parties could engage in a fruitful and mutually beneficial collaboration. Following the remarks, the foundation’s representatives explained the purpose of their visit, which was to seek input regarding the restructuring of the management of Kartika Elementary School and Kindergarten in Banjarmasin. During the discussion, it became clear that the Kartika Foundation wished to establish a partnership with the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at ULM, particularly regarding assistance with the management of Kartika Elementary and Kindergarten, including the recruitment of teaching staff.
