2,209 Applicants Take the UTBK-SNBT SNPMB at FKIP ULM

Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has once again been entrusted with conducting the Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) for the National Test-Based Selection (SNBT) for the National Selection of New Student Admissions (SNPMB) for the year 2025. The activity will be held over 8 days, starting on Wednesday, April 23, to Wednesday, April 30, divided into 2 sessions: the morning test session from 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. WITA and the afternoon session from 1:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. WITA. ULM facilitated the test for 10,129 participants, 2,209 of whom took the test at FKIP ULM. The tests were conducted in 7 computer labs (labkom), namely the PGSD computer lab on floors 1 & 2, the Mathematics Education computer lab, the Mathematics and Science Education computer lab, the Economics and Science Education computer lab, the Educational Technology computer lab, all with a capacity of 20 people per session, and the Computer Education computer lab with a capacity of 30 people per session.

The opening of the test on Wednesday, April 23, was directly monitored by the Rector of ULM, Ahmad, accompanied by the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems, Yusuf Azis; Dean of FKIP ULM and Location Supervisor, Sunarno Basuki; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty, also acting as location supervisor; Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dharmono, and Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman, acting as Deputy Location Supervisors; and Head of General Affairs, Isnawati, who is also the Location Coordinator. According to Deasy, her team is grateful that the test has been running smoothly over the past few days, including stable internet connectivity. “Challenges, like anything else, are inevitable, but they are not significant and can be addressed effectively. I hope we can successfully complete this test until the end,” she said.

Meanwhile, according to the Head of General Affairs and BMN, Dedy Rizani, preparations for the test venue have been made well in advance. “With experience gained from previous years, the team preparing everything from the lab to the directional signs has performed its duties well. In addition to clear signage regarding the test venue, we have also prepared special parking for participants. Preparations for the computer lab have also been made well in advance, including servicing a number of test equipment. “The solid cooperation of the implementation team, from the technical team, the cleaning team, to the security team, has been one of the keys to the success of the test. Hopefully, this UTBK can run smoothly until the last day,” he hoped. (admin)
