Banjarmasin – On Monday, June 29, several students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) received awards at the “2026 Lambung Mangkurat University Outstanding Student Awards” ceremony. The event was held at the ULM General Theater Building starting at 9:00 a.m. WITA. Several FKIP students won awards in various academic and arts competitions, including PILMAPRES, NUDC, KDMI, ON-MIPA, MTQM, and PEKSIMA.
At the Outstanding Student Awards (Pilmapres), FKIP student Alvince Stevani Lase won third place. Meanwhile, at the National University Debating Championship (NUDC), Najla Nur Salima was named the third-best speaker, and at the Indonesian Student Debate Competition (KDMI), Dinda Khairatun Nisa was named the best speaker.
The FKIP’s achievements are also evident in the field of science. In the ON-MIPA Biology category, Dini Rizqi Fauziah won first place, outperforming participants from other faculties.
The dominance of FKIP students continued at the ULM-level Student Quran Recitation Competition (MTQM). FKIP students won awards in various categories, including Rusda Hanifa (Third Place in the Women’s 10-Juz Hifzhil Quran Competition), Muhammad Lukman Nul Zeisan (Second Place in the Men’s 5-Juz Hifzhil Quran Competition), Muhammad Asfari Azemi (Third Place in the Men’s 5-Juz Quran Memorization Competition), Siti Hafizah (Second Place in the Women’s Quran Recitation with Proper Pronunciation Competition), Ahmad Kusairi (Second Place in the Men’s Quran Recitation Competition), Muhammad Zaky Rahman (Third Place in the Boys’ Quran Recitation Competition), Farah Nayla Zahra (First Place in the Girls’ Quran Recitation Competition), the team consisting of Syifa Uswatunnisa, Rizma, and Nahjil Istiqamah (First Place in the Quran Exegesis Competition), the Nida Mawaddah team (Second Place in the Quran Exegesis Competition), as well as Ahmad Rifa’i K. and Muhammad Ramadhan (Second Place in the Quranic Scientific Writing Competition).
In the arts, through the Student Arts Week (Peksima), FKIP students also excelled. They achieved success in various competition categories, including classical singing, keroncong, dangdut, pop, poetry recitation, monologue, playwriting, short story writing, poetry writing, painting, poster design, and photography. Among the award winners were M. Fadhil Saqullah, Siti Meyka Nurhadiza, Putri Kunanti Zalukhu, Muhammad Endri Eka Difa, Dyna Nur Fakhrina, Dewi Sukma Asmara, Ahmad Safi’i, Meiysa Syfa Noerzahra, Nurul Ilmia, Syam Dhea Kamelia, Eva Farisyah Amanda Putri, M. Haidir Bukhori Muslim, Sudatul Laili, Muhammad Amin, Rika Syntia, Ripqi Haikal, Miriyati, Muhammad Hafizh, Nor Latifah Azizah, Muhammad Nabil Maulana, Muthia Amalia, and Gusti Dianti Hilya Ananda.
This achievement demonstrates the consistency of FKIP ULM students in excelling, not only in academic and scientific fields, but also in the development of artistic, cultural, and religious talents. It is hoped that this success will serve as motivation for the entire ULM FKIP academic community—especially the students—to continue improving the quality, creativity, and competitiveness of students at both the regional and national levels.
