Several FKIP ULM Lecturers Appointed as PPI Administrators, Ready to Collaborate

The newly appointed Chairman of PPI South Kalimantan, Syubhan Annur, together with the Chairman of the Advisory Board, Arif Sholahuddin, and the Secretary General of PPI Indonesia, R. Ahmad Zaky El Islami.

Banjarmasin – On Thursday, September 18, a number of lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) from the science field were inaugurated as administrators of the Indonesian Science Educators Association (PPI) for the South Kalimantan (Kalsel) region. The inauguration was conducted in a hybrid format via Zoom by the Chair of the Central PPI, Pamin, and was attended by the Secretary General of PPI Indonesia, R. Ahmad Zaky El Islami from Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, as well as the board of PPI South Kalimantan.

The FKIP ULM lecturers who were appointed as PPI Kalsel administrators included the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, as one of the Board of Trustees; Arif Sholahuddin as Chair of the Advisory Board with members Atiek Winarti, Aminuddin Prahatama Putra, Dharmono, and Yudha Irhasyuarna. The board members include Syubhan Annur as Chair, Mustika Wati as Vice Chair, Ratna Yulinda as Treasurer, Mella Mutika Sari and Rizky Febriyani Putri as Vice Treasurers, Syahmani as Chair of Research and Development with members Maulana Khalid Riefani, Sauqina, Ade Rahmawati Idris, and Keyman, Nurul Hidayati Utami and Almubarak as members of the Publication Division. Saiyidah Mahtari, Mahdian, Ellyna Hafizah, Dewi Dewantara, and Ayu Tri Khodizah as members of the Community Service Division. Rusmansyah as Head of Education and Training with members Suyidno, Fauzi Rahman, Yogo Dwi Prasetyo, Hestu Anggrah Eny, Gusti Aulia Nasution. Yasmine Khairunnisa as Head of Public Relations with members Iriani Bakti, Muhammad Muslim, Ikhwan Khairu Sadiqin, and Syarifah Meutiah Eka Sari. Wida Salupi, Rilia Iriani, Qamariah, Meliyana Aini, and Ni Pt. Pande Mirah Surya Dewi as members of the Funding and Business Division. Parham Saadi and Maya Isyadji as members of the Legal Division.

In his speech, Syubhan emphasized his commitment to reviving the PPI organization, which had been dormant since the Covid-19 pandemic. He mentioned that PPI, as a science education association, is a forum for collaboration across all fields of science, mathematics, and natural sciences, which will be more active in conducting activities and outreach in the future. PPI South Kalimantan is expected to be a driving force in developing sustainable science education. With the new management, the organization is committed to bringing about real change through innovative and beneficial programs for teachers, students, and the wider community. “Our hope is that PPI will not only be known in South Kalimantan, but will also be able to play a role at the national level. To that end, we will build collaborations with various stakeholders so that PPI will become even more effective,” said Syubhan. (Admin)
