Banjarbaru – Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), Sunarno Basuki, received an award on behalf of FKIP as a faculty whose all study programs are accredited as excellent at the open session of the ULM Senate and the peak of the 67th ULM Anniversary celebration at the ULM Auditorium, Banjarbaru. FKIP ULM is considered successful in maintaining good quality in the areas of tridarma (three pillars of higher education) and institutional management in 21 study programs/departments. As previously reported by FKIP ULM Public Relations on July 4, the English Education Study Program was accredited with excellence by the Independent Education Accreditation Agency (Lamdik). This marks the final achievement of programs/departments accredited as excellent at FKIP ULM. With this designation, all programs/departments at FKIP ULM have now been accredited as excellent.

This achievement was welcomed with joy by Sunarno Basuki. According to him, all achievements cannot be separated from the contributions of all parties at the department, faculty, and university levels. Regarding this achievement, he expressed his deepest gratitude to all parties, including the rector of ULM and the vice rectors, the ULM Quality Assurance and Education Development Agency (LMPP), the vice deans of FKIP ULM, the heads and managers of study programs/departments within FKIP ULM, the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) of FKIP ULM, the head of the general affairs department and the heads of service divisions, as well as all lecturers, students, and educational staff (tendik) within FKIP ULM. “Hopefully, we can continue to maintain this achievement and improve it to an international level,” he said.
