Banjarmasin – The Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held an event titled “Socialization and Alignment of Perceptions of the Lamdik (Independent Education Accreditation Agency -Ed) 2.0 Instrument” on Thursday, October 8. This instrument has been established as a benchmark for the accreditation assessment of study programs for faculties/universities whose accrediting body is Lamdik. The event was held in the Hasan Bondan Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. WITA. The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty, and attended by the Head of the General Affairs Division, Isnawati; the Chair of the UPM FKIP ULM, Ananda Setiawan, and the UPM team; the department chairs and the Quality Assurance Team (GPM) of the departments within FKIP ULM; as well as the Heads of Services of FKIP ULM.
In her opening remarks, Deasy said that this socialization was part of the initial preparations for the reaccreditation of departments at FKIP ULM. According to her, a number of departments must already be preparing for reaccreditation due to the approaching reaccreditation schedule. “Among the departments that will be reaccredited in the near future are the Geography Education Department, whose accreditation period will expire in February 2027, so it must submit the accreditation form documents in October next year. The same applies to the Special Education Department and the Primary School Teacher Education Department (JPGSD),” she said.
After the opening, the event continued with an explanation of the Lamdik 2.0 instrument by Ananda Setiawan. During his explanation, Ananda reminded everyone that this new Lamdik instrument must be responded to positively by all departments. “There is no need to worry because the departments have already implemented PPEPP (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement) in the fields of education and teaching, research, and PkM (Community Service –Ed.). I am optimistic that the departments can maintain their excellent accreditation with earlier and better preparation,” he said.
The Lamdik 2.0 instrument consists of Book 1: Academic Manuscript, Book 2: General Accreditation Guidelines; Book 3: Guidelines for Preparing LED (Self-Evaluation Reports) and Filling in Program Study Performance Data; Book 4: Assessment Guidelines and Matrices. According to one member of the UPM, Saiyidah Mahtari, Instrument 2.0 places greater emphasis on graduate outcomes, relevance, and impact. “So it’s not just about input or structure. It must show data-based improvements, namely trends, achievement analysis, and follow-up policies. Some significant changes from the previous instrument include a change from 85 accreditation items to 65 elements, where criterion 6 is about education; part A, which is a document that must be filled out by the UPPS (Program Study Management Unit), in this case the faculty, no longer exists; the LED is a maximum of 65 pages and contains reflective information,” she explained.
