Suasana Rapat Persiapan AL Akreditasi Internasional ACQUIN

Banjarmasin – With one month to go before the scheduled Field Assessment (FA) for the international accreditation of nine departments in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) by the Germany-based accreditation body ACQUIN (Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute), the organizing committee has begun making intensive preparations. A series of coordination and preparation meetings have been held, including an online-based AL simulation. The committee consists of the ULM LPMPP (Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development) team; the faculty management team comprising leadership, service divisions, and work units, including the FKIP ULM Quality Assurance Unit (UPM); as well as teams from the 9 departments to be accredited, namely the Department of History Education, Department of Economics Education, Department of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn), Department of Geography Education, Department of Sociology Education, Department of Social Sciences Education (IPS), Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI), Department of English Language Education, and Department of Performing Arts Education (PSP).

The committee began holding coordination and preparation meetings on January 7, 14, and 19, and February 4. Meanwhile, a number of simulations were also conducted both online and in person on January 28, 29, and February 5. During every meeting and simulation, he expressed his appreciation and encouraged good teamwork in carrying out the assessment.

The Atmosphere at the Preparatory Meeting for ACQUIN International Accreditation

On the other hand, according to the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty, the preparations made cover all aspects necessary for the assessment process, including the readiness of facilities and infrastructure, human resources, supporting documentation, and—equally important—the readiness of the technology-based digital and electronic devices that will be used during the AL, scheduled for February 12–13. She also noted that the ACQUIN evaluation team will be present both in person and via the online meeting platform, Zoom. Therefore, she emphasized that both aspects of the meeting must be thoroughly prepared. She also urged the departments undergoing accreditation to maximize their supporting evidence to secure the best possible evaluation.
