Several Student Teams Win the KDMI and NUDC Competitions at the FKIP ULM Level

Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) once again held the selection process for the annual student competitions organized in stages by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek),the National University Debating Championship (NUDC) and the Indonesian Student Debate Competition (KDMI) at the faculty level for 2026. This event was held on Monday, March 30, in the FKIP ULM Meeting Room starting at 9:00 a.m. WITA. The competition was participated in by a number of debate teams, both English-speaking and Indonesian-speaking, from various departments within FKIP ULM.

Serving as judges in these two competitions were Emma Rosana Febriyanti, Niswi Ulvini, and Eka Puteri Elyani, who are lecturers in the English Language Education Department for the NUDC, as well as Faradina, a lecturer in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department (PBSI), and Tajmila and Ikhtiara Fakhrunisa from LMDS (Lambung Mangkurat Debate Society) as judges for the KDMI.

The winners of this competition were, for KDMI: 1st Place, Dinda Khairatunnisa and Anisha Shahara from the Department of Pancasila and Civic Education; 2nd Place, Muhammad Helmy Nadhif and Kholishotul Ilmia from the Department of Computer Education; 3rd Place, Maulidiyawati and Putri Kunanti Zalukhu from the Department of Natural Sciences Education (IPA); and 1st Runner-Up, Intan Noraini and Nadia Mahfuzah from the Department of Physics Education. Meanwhile, for the NUDC, 1st Place: Fenny Afrianti Maylina P. and Najla Nur Salima from the Department of Mathematics Education; 2nd Place: Ahmaddien Daffa’ Ramadhany and Naila Hasanah from the Department of English Language Education; 3rd Place: Aika Aslama Afnan and Cici Wahana from the Department of English Education; and 1st Runner-Up: Desy Nur Raya and Putri Nilam Sari from the Department of Chemistry Education. Following this faculty-level stage, the qualifying teams will be selected to participate in the university-level NUDC and KDMI competitions on April 13–16.
