To Support Student Development, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at ULM Holds a Coordination Meeting on the Budget for Student Organization Activities

The Atmosphere of the Meeting

Banjarmasin – The leadership of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) invited student organizations (ormawa) under FKIP ULM to a coordination meeting regarding the budget for student activities. The event was held on Monday, April 6, in the Utility Building meeting room starting at 10:00 a.m. WITA. The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dharmono; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; the Head of the General Affairs Division, Isnawati; the Chair of the Student Affairs and Alumni Division, Rabiatul Adawiyah; the Chair of the Finance Division, Indra Nur Adhitya; advisors, chairs, and treasurers of the Student Executive Board (BEM), Student Representative Council (DPM), Student Activity Unit (UKM) FKIP Mengajar, Islamic Study Forum (FSI) Al Furqon, IMPAS-B, Himasindo Theater, and Student Press Agency (LPM) Warta Jitu.

The meeting was moderated by Ali Rachman, with Dharmono and Indra Nur Adhitya serving as speakers. In his remarks, Dharmono explained that the allocation of funds for student organization activities represents the faculty’s support for the positive and beneficial initiatives these organizations will carry out over the coming year. He urged that the activity budget be allocated to improve the university’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as well as to enhance student quality in academic, personal, and social aspects. He also suggested that departments within the FKIP ULM allocate sufficient funds for student association (HIMA) activities. Meanwhile, Adhitya provided a more technical explanation of the process for proposing the Budget Plan (RAB) and preparing the Accountability Report (LPJ) in accordance with established regulations. According to him, students need to understand in detail how the LPJ is prepared so that the submitted reports can be accepted.

In closing, Ali Rachman urged student organization members to immediately prepare a budget proposal and plan activities that can enhance individual and organizational skills, as well as support the achievement of the university’s key performance indicators and improve the quality of the campus. In response, the Chair of FKIP Mengajar, Muhammad Fariel Maulidan, plans to hold an introductory meeting with his team to begin drafting the budget proposal. (Admin)
