Several Students Win the FKIP Peksima Competition and Are Ready to Compete at the ULM Level

Banjarmasin – A number of students from various departments within the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) won the faculty-level Student Arts Week (Peksima) for 2026. Peksima is a biennial arts competition held in stages by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek), starting from the faculty level, university level, regional level, and culminating in the Peksiminas (National Student Arts Week) event. This prestigious competition features a number of categories in the arts, including singing for male and female participants in the genres of pop, dangdut, classical, and keroncong; poetry recitation for men and women; monologue theater; short story writing; playwriting; poetry writing; poster design; painting; photography; comic strips; dance; and vocal groups.

The winners of the competitions included: (1) Dangdut Singing Competition, men’s category: 1st Place Ahmad Syafi’i from the Department of Performing Arts Education (JPSP); 2nd Place: Rahmadi from the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education (JPBSI); and 3rd Place: Bayu Tri Lenggono from the Department of Pancasila and Civic Education (JPPKn). Dangdut singing competition, women’s category: 1st Place Meisya Syifa Noerzahra from JPSP; 2nd Place Nurul Ilmia from JPSP; and 3rd Place Aisha Salsabila from JPBSI. (2) Men’s pop singing competition: 1st Place: Muhammad Pahmi from JPSP; 2nd Place: I Nyoman Julian Nugraha from the Department of Sociology Education; and 3rd Place: Muhammad Nor Aufa from JPSP; meanwhile, in the women’s category: 1st Place: Syam Dhea Kamelia from JPSP; 2nd Place: Eva Farisah Amanda Putri from JPSP; and 3rd Place: Putri Kunanti Zakhulu. (3) Classical singing competition: Best Male Performer, Muhammad Fadhil Saqullah from JPSP, and Best Female Performer, Siti Meyka Nurhadiza. (4) Keroncong singing competition: Best Male Singer, Muhammad Endri Eka Difa from JPSP. For the women’s keroncong singing category: First Place, Dewi Sukma Asmara from JPSP, and Second Place, Dina Nur Fakhrina from the Department of Biology Education.

(5) Poetry Recitation Contest, Boys’ Category: 1st Place—Muhammad Haidir Bukhori Muslim from JPSP; 2nd Place—Salman Al Farissyi from the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD); and 3rd Place—Muhammad Ryan from JPBSI. Meanwhile, in the poetry reading competition, female category: 1st Place Rizma from JPBSI; Sudatul Laili from JPBSI; and Agnia Fitri from JPBSI. (6) Monologue Competition: 1st Place Muhammad Amin from JPSP; Rika Syntia from the Department of Sociology Education; and 3rd Place Noviea Futri from JPSP. (7) Short Story Writing Competition: 1st Place: Valencianita from the Department of Sociology Education; 2nd Place: Miriyati from the Department of Mathematics Education; and 3rd Place: Annisa Nurlathifah from JPBSI. (8) Playwriting Contest: First Place: Ghaida Amira Fawziya from the Department of Mathematics Education; and Second Place: Ripqi Haikal from JPSP. (9) Poetry Writing Competition: 1st Place Mahyudi Syauki Akmal from the Department of Mathematics Education; 2nd Place Muhammad Hafizh from JPBSI; and 3rd Place Muhammad Aldi Nazhif from JPBSI.

(10) Poster Design Contest: First Place—Muhammad Nabil Maulana from the Computer Education Department; Second Place—Muthia Amalia from the Educational Technology Department (Tekpen); and Third Place—Muhammad Dimas Saputra from the Educational Technology Department (Tekpen). (11) Painting Contest: 1st Place: Nor Latifah Azizah from the Department of Educational Technology; 2nd Place: Zahra Maulia from the Department of Mathematics Education; and 3rd Place: Nana Aminah from the Department of Mathematics Education. (12) Comic Strip Contest: Best Award, Nalya Meilita Sahati from the Department of Mathematics Education. (13) Photography Contest: First Place: Muhammad Ali Zainal from the Department of Engineering; Second Place: Gusti Dianti Hilya Ananda from the Department of Engineering; and Third Place: Fiqri from the Department of Sociology Education. (14) Vocal group competition: Students who qualified include Novita Sari Fortuna Purba, Ariswandha Imawan Putra Asya’ri, Muhammad Najib, Noni, Nur Puspa Jahya, Rini Maisaroh, Nazwa Umairoh, Ilham Surya Putra, Atol Fatma, and Muhammad Rihan from the Department of Social and Political Sciences (JPSP) and Norhayati from the Department of Mathematics Education. (15) Dance competition, students who qualified include Nur Lu’lu’ah, V-Tri Algi Priyanti, Adinda Firda Syahtari, Zalva Zahiyah Putri, Jihal Ferial, Dina Febriani, and Siti Arifah Febriyanti from JPSP, as well as Herlangga from the Department of Economics Education.

The competition itself was conducted through the digital submission of entries, including documents, photos, and performance videos. Participants began uploading their entries from May 22 to 28, followed by the judging process on May 29 and 30.
