Banjarmasin — A number of students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), who placed first and second in the faculty-level Student Arts Week (Peksima) competition, went on to win nearly all the categories at the university-level Peksima competition. The first-place winners will undergo training and be prepared to represent Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) at the regional level, and will then compete at the national level if they win first place there. The ULM-level selection process was held on Thursday and Friday, June 25–26, at the General Theater Building and the ULM Graduate School building.
The winners who brought honor to FKIP at the ULM level were Muhammad Fadhil Saqullah (2nd place) in the men’s classical singing competition, Siti Meyka Nurhadiza (2nd place) and Putri Kunanti Zalukhu (3rd place) in the women’s classical singing competition, Muhammad Endri Eka Difa (1st place) in the men’s keroncong singing competition, Dyna Nur Fakhrina (1st place) and Dewi Sukma Asmara (2nd place) in the women’s keroncong singing competition, Ahmad Safi’i (1st place) in the men’s dangdut singing competition, Meiysa Syfa Noerzahra (2nd place) and Nurul Ilmia (3rd place) for the girls’ dangdut singing competition; Syam Dhea Kamelia (2nd place) and Eva Farisyah Amanda Putri (3rd place) for the girls’ pop singing competition; Muhammad Haidir Bukhori Muslim (2nd place) in the boys’ poetry recitation competition, Sudatul Laili (2nd place) in the girls’ poetry recitation competition, Muhammad Amin (1st place) and Rika Syntia (2nd place) in the monologue competition, Ripqi Haikal (2nd place) in the playwriting competition, Miriyati (1st place) in the short story writing competition, Muhammad Hafizh (1st place) in the poetry writing competition, Nor Latifah Azizah (2nd place) in the painting contest, Muhammad Nabil Maulana (1st place) and Muthia Amalia (3rd place) in the poster design contest, and Gusti Dianti Hilya Ananda (2nd place) in the photography contest.
